Happy 4 Year Anniversary!

Today is our 4 year Anniversary!! I can't believe how fast it has came and yet it seems like we've known each other forever!!
We celebrated by going up to Island Park the past few days and renting a cabin and going snowmachining! It was so fun spending time with just each other. Austin's parents watched the kids for us! The cabin was cute and it had a brand new hot tub and cable TV!! :) We went to West Yellowstone for dinner one night and just relaxed the whole rest of the time! It was pretty romantic!! Love you Aus!!

My camera's reaction time is horrible!I tried to get

Swimming Lessons

Yesterday Kaydree had her 1st day of swimming lessons. Even though I swam all through highschool and most of my life I decided that she would probably learn a little better from a stranger. Since I work at the gym, I only pay a minimal fee and...she loved it!! She's so grown up now!

Fun with the Newman's

This past weekend our good friends, the Newman's, came to stay with us. The guys always go snowmachining up to Poker Peak while us Girls hang out. As always Kaydree and their boy Garett had a blast hanging out with each other. Kaydree is constantly talking about Garett and how much she like him. It was so fun watching them play together!!...

Did I mention take baths all together?!! :) It was
a mess afterwards all over my bathroom but who
can be upset. They're so innocent!

And we were so excited to see baby Jocelyn who is
only 2 months old!! She loved to watch our ceiling fan!

Thanks for visiting Guys!!

California Surprise

This past week my sister Traci, myself, Kaydree and Brayden all made a suprise trip/drive down to CA for my Dad's 50th Birthday!! I left my house at 8pm Wed. night after only deciding at 11am that same day that we were even going to do this. At 9:30am the next morning we finally arrived at my parents house suprising my day for his birthday...and boy was he suprised!! We then all got showered and dressed for the day and went to my mom's preschool to visit her. Kaydree and Brayden had so much fun playing with all the other kids! We went out to dinner for my dad's birthday with the whole fam except Austin and Trac's husband. We all had fun swimming, shopping, and did I mention organizing!! It was a quick trip but we had fun hanging out as a family for the whole weekend especially in 75 degree weather (It's a blizzard here)!! Happy Birthday Dad!

The kids jumped right into the fun and loved playing with the remote control car, squirt guns, and bubbles with Grandpa!
Picture of us all at the zoo! Definitely NOT a great pic! :)

Buddies!

The baby giraffe was by far my fav.!

My mom, Brayden, and I

Brayden touched his 1st snake. Eeww! I managed to escape that (Kaydree too!).

The kids loved the baby animal area!

Kaydree and Baby Ryan (my sister's boy). She is
obsessed with babies lately.

Grandpa and Kaydree taking their daily needed nap!! :)
Man he's old!!

This was Brayden pretty much all day Sunday at my parents house. After having a fever of 104.8 for over 24hrs. we took him into an Urgent Care and found out he had strep throat and tonsilitis. He's doing great now!

Spreading the LOVE

{Lucky you!}
The first 5 people to respond to this post will get something made by me! My choice. For you.

This offer does have some restrictions and limitations:

1- I make no guarantees that you will like what I make!

2- What I create will be just for you.

3- It'll be done this year.

4- You have no clue what it's going to be.

It may be a story. It may be a picture of myself, or a handmade piece of artwork for your living room. I may sew you something. I may bake you something. Who knows? Not you, that's for sure!

5- I reserve the right to do something extremely strange.

The catch?
Oh, the catch is that you must repost this on your blog and offer the same to the first 5 people who do the same on your blog. The first 5 people to do so and leave a comment telling me they did win a FAB-U-LOUS homemade gift by me! Oh, and be sure to post a picture of what you win when you get it! LETS PLAY!

Let The Party Begin!

This past weekend we had so much fun being able to hang out together with our family. We had a Super Bowl/Birthday Party for Austin's birthday on Sunday. I felt so bad for Austin and Kaydree because they both caught some nasty flu ( Austin just found out he has an ear infection, sinus infection, and bronchitis :( ) so some of our family made their stay short but we still had fun! Super Bowl is a big deal in our family so we all watched and waited for our team to win ( that being the Cardinals b/c I love rooting for the underdogs! except my brother-in-law who loves the Steelers and always will pick the right team who wins, always). So needless to say, he was the only one who went home happy...but we all had a fun night and I sure did cook up some mean food! :) Happy Birthday Austin!!!

This is a really bad picture but all the rest look
like he's half out of it. :) He really is handsome!!!
Kaydree wanted to help daddy do everything!!

Brayden all ready for some football...hey it's the only one
we had!! He loves football already and Austin thinks and wishes
he'll go pro!

Austin's brother always performs and sings songs
for everyone's birthday. This time was HSM 3!!

Lately it seems that there could be a light at the
end of the tunnel. Kaydree and Brayden seem to
be playing together and not screaming non-stop.
I think they realized that it was easier to just to get
along.... I'm still waiting for all of you who said that
because they are so close they will be such good friends. :)
But they bring me so much joy from little moments like these!

Yes, I got my hair done again. My cousin does
hair and charges me just for supplies and I love her!
It's so fun having short hair and Austin loves it too!
And here are some pics of some of our recent
projects we have been working on. This old
camera does nothing justice and the mantle has
not been stained yet and we need our painters to come back
...but I love what I see so far!!
Wa-la!!

A Little Update

So I am slowly getting the hang of all of this blog stuff! I found the USB cable to my old camera so I am now able to post some pics again. However, I somehow don't have any updated pics of Austin and I so for now our header pic looks ancient! Sorry mom! We should be taking some new pics soon!

Everything has been going really well for us! I'm still waiting to find out if our house has sold and trying to keep on top of everything with Kaydree and Brayden's new phase in life...best friends and enemies within 0.0001 secs.!!! I do love being their mommy though. I also have gotten into the 5 am gym thing again for the past 2 weeks!! Thanks to my friend Erin for going with me! I feel great though and have convinced myself this time to do either a half or whole marathon in May! It's amazing what a little self time can do to one's self sanity! Austin has been staying busy building houses and we have been very blessed by his hard work! Thanks to tithing this month we got a call saying that another family wants a house built soon too! Austin is an amazing husband who somehow manages to do it all! Hopefully this new President thing Today will be a change for the best! Until then we'll keep crossing our fingers!

Heading Off in the Right Direction

This New Year seems to have started out in the right direction:

To top off my list:

1. Kaydree is Potty Trained!! That's right!! We're still working at the all night thing but daytime speaking...it's official!!

2. I managed to read
Twilight finally!! I have always wanted to and got the book for my birthday. And I read it in only 3 days! That is some sort of record for me. I snagged it in here and there and even woke up at night to read it. It's alright I guess :). Now I need to see the movie!

3. We have a finished mantle and a few other odds and ends projects done around the house! Just in time to sell it....that's still in the making or in the air so to speak. But it all looks so beautiful!!

4. I have a new cell phone. I bid on ebay and won! It was only $0.99!! I also got a new wallet and Austin got me a new purse for Christmas...so my most used possessions are getting restocked slowly. I feel like things are back together for sure. And my highlight was when I got a new Driver's License. Austin and I headed for the Philippines on my 21st birthday and so I got my license renewed a few days before. Well, since I was inder 21 in Idaho they place your info vertical on the card and so ever since then I've been a 24 year old with a under 21 year old license. It was a big deal to me people! Now, everything's completely to my standards of wanting to get older every year!!

5. My fetish of loving to organize started up in full swing again!! This was caused by one full day of sunlight for me!!! There is nothing more fun to me than cleaning and organizing!!

6. And.....it's official, I am feeling a little/lot baby hungry again!! I know what you're all thinking...it's a new year though....I'm up for a challenge! It doesn't come and end over night though so don't panic! :)

7. I am so excited that Biggest Loser started up again! I absolutely love this show!! I have been known to schedule or ditch appt. due to this show! I just love it...and I really couldn't tell you why. :) I also started watching the Bachelor which I probably shouldn't have because I have a feeling my family might struggle with this for the next few weeks! And to think I usually hate TV!!

All in all I am really liking the start to this New Year!!! It seems like all of you have started on your resolutions and while I have mine of my own I don't want to disappoint or make anyone feel jealous( :) ) so good luck to everyone and Happy New Year!!!

I will work on posting pics. I am missing some sort of attachment to my computer for my old camera!

A Very Happy Holiday

Happy Holidays Everyone!!! It seems to be very cheery around here compared to the weeks past. We had a wonderful Christmas with friends and family and it was a blast!! Life is getting put back together from our last mishaps and I found an old camera to catch a glimpse of some of our fun!

We took the kids sledding along with our neighbors
the Taylor's.

Daddy and Brayden sledding...Brayden wasn't
too sure about the whole thing...he hates wearing
the gazillions of layers!

Our little fam in a cow sled! It was FAST!

Kaydree giving me her ONE catch it or miss
it pose!

Christmas morning... what is going on??? I must
be dreaming still?

Santa brought Kaydree some high heels! She's
already wanting to grow up!

She was sooo thankful of everything from
everyone. She would say, "Oh wow, Thank you"
and then give a little giggle after every gift.

We lost all attention from Brayden when Santa
gave him cars and a train!

And our favorite little friend (cousin), baby
Kamryn and our sister Amber! What a cutie!!

A Not So Jolly Weekend

This weekend Austin and I headed off to Utah for his cousin's wedding. We were able to leave the kids with his family for the entire weekend and I was excited!! His cousin's wedding was in Salt Lake. While we were attending his wedding, Austin's truck had been broken into. Actually, his whole window of his truck was bashed in by some sort of crow bar. We noticed it when we went outside to grab the wedding gift. We saw the theives and their truck take off....the police didn't catch them but I was mad! They stole all of MY stuff! My new purse, my makeup bag, my new camera with very important pics on it, all of our Christmas gift money on gift cards, credit and debit cards, my car keys (I have NO spare), and my cell phone!! It pretty much stinks too. We spent the whole first night trying to cancel everything and cleaning up glass. Did I mention it was a Blizzard!! His uncle had to loan us money just to be able to eat and get gas.
The second day we spent looking for a place to fix our window (we had to borrow money again) and we got to hang out with my sister and her husband at Temple Square. We spent the night at their apartment.
And the third day Austin's relatives got us tickets for the Sounds of Sunday and the Christmas concert. President Monson and Uchtdorf were there! That was THE Highlight of our weekend! After that we drove home 4 hours through another blizzard. SAD DAY!!! I am still a little bit bitter and having difficulty coping but at least no one was hurt.

If anyone does have an old cell phone they'd like to get rid of I will see if my provider will accept it. Thanks for letting me vent. I will try to figure out a way to take and post pics SOON!

Sister, Sister!

This Friday my older sister Katie flew into SLC from CA to come visit me for the week. We haven't hung out together as sisters since who knows when. We even got to hang out with my twin sister Traci last Friday for the day! Katie had a baby this past Sept. and brought him along too. It has been a lot of fun! We've decorated some more of my downstairs, watched movies, did some speed cleaning (since yes, my new house is still on the market.. always the story), gave her a fun makeover (and showed her what eye makeup is for JK!), went shopping and I bought some cute clothes, played games, used her height to get to the top of our tree to finish some decorating and well, just hung out! But it was fun! I do think I convinced her that ONE child is enough though! Everyone tells me..."oh, their just in that stage"..but how long does that stage last?? Brayden's mellow, sensitive, and caring while you know who is a little miss sassy ALL the time! What can ya do? I love her with all my heart, I really do! But this week has flown by and I hope that we can continue to grow closer as sisters.

Here's some picture's of some of our random, sometimes pointless, FUN!
Katie and I
New haircut....(The whole thing was MY idea 1st :) )

Christmas Tree Hunting

It's an annual tradition the day after Thanksgiving to head to the mountains in search of the PERFECT Christmas Tree. This year we braved it and took the kids too! We all had so much fun! There wasn't that much snow until that night..but the kids had fun snowmobiling and playing in the snow! We love our tree and even though we cut only 2/3 of it down it stands 13 ft. tall. I don't have any pics yet because I ran out of light strands!! Here are just a few pics of the adventure.
Their first time snowmobiling!
Brayden taught Kaydree the ropes of a good
snowball fight!
And Kaydree showed Brayden how to eat snow!
A little piece of Heaven....we are always the
only ones out here for miles and miles!
This is IT before being chopped down...I think
this picture shows only half of it!!
