While my mom was here we decided to go to the Tautphaus Park Zoo. My twin sister Traci and her new husband, Gary came up from Utah to go with us too!

Potty Training

I've been doing a lot of thinking lately and have come to the conclusion that it's potty training time for Kaydree. She knows a little too much about a certain topic and so we are moving on up. I started yesterday and after 2 agonizing hours...it came. Potty that is. After that she just wouldn't do it. I have myself doing things I said "I" would never do. But when it comes to just how badly I want it I just had to give in. After potty dances, stickers, treats, charts, the thought of Grandma coming, and big girl panties she gave in to the potty once again today...Here's the proof! Ha! Kind of a gross proud mommy moment. I know. But we'll see.......

Chuckars Game

Last Friday we went to the Minor League baseball game to see the Idaho Falls Chuckars play. Brayden was one of two toddlers selected to be a part of the baby derby. They rolled out rugs to see who would be the first to either walk or crawl to the finish line. Brayden decided that when it was time to perform he would rather watch the crowd's reaction instead. So 4,000 people sat there laughing while I tried everything to get him to move. Finally he did and finished a year after the other baby but they each still got a Target gift card. It was fun though.

Home Sweet Home

I'm back to blogging again! We finally got all settled into our new house and got our internet hooked up. What crazy fun the past 2 weeks have been. We lived with Austin's family for about a week, celebrated 4th of July, a birthday party, 3 birthdays and a bunch of summer fun in between! We also had a baby shower for my sister-in-law. Her baby finally came home on Sunday and now weighs in at close to 5 pounds! Yea! Here are a few pictures of the fun we had. Those house pictures I promised are coming soon!

Moving Time

We are finally moving! We are moving out of our tiny apartment, staying with Austin's family for a few days until the final touches are finished with our house, and then we are moving into our new house!! (I know what you're thinking...and yes we move around a lot.) Our internet will be disconnected until July 7th...but I'll update everyone on things then. Ta Ta for now!!!

Quick Road Trip

Saturday afternoon, Austin and I were feeling the need to do something so we decided to hop in his truck and drive to Utah to see Traci and to meet her new husband Gary. We hung out, went swimming, out to dinner, and watched a movie. We also took the kids to some old train station in Ogden.

Kamryn McKinna

Austin's sister Amber had a little baby girl on Monday, June 16th. Kamryn was born 7.5 weeks early but she is very strong and healthy and doing great! She weighed in at 4 pounds 1 ounce. Amber did such a good job and is a great mommy. As many of you know she has two other babies (Mckinna and Kurtis) that passed away shortly after birth because of complications. They were born 16-17 weeks too early. We love her so much and she and her husband Kevin are the strongest people we know. We are so excited for them to be able to take her home with them in a few weeks.

I just found out that she also graduated to the 2nd floor, a less severe NICU. Yea!!

Another Toddler!

Well, as many of you have been wondering....Brayden finally started walking! I just think the first week is so funny watching them figure out the whole feet thing!

Shocked!?!

Have you even been completely shocked? speechless? dumbfounded? I could really go on.... I just found out today that I have a new brother in law. My twin sister called me this morning and told me that Gary and her got married on Friday the 13th on the spare of the moment. For her sake I am excited for her but for goodness sake I'm very shockingly pleasantly-unpleasantly surprised! I haven't even met him or talked to him before. They married after 28 days of meeting. I just feel a little hurt because they live only 2.5 hours away and I could have gone to at least visit. Any way, I just thought I'd inform any of you that want to listen. Thanks!!

A Bit Confused??

I woke up yesterday with some sort of cold and then I woke up this morning feeling a bit cold. I looked out the window and this is what I saw.... That's right! SNOW!!! So, in defense of Rachel, I am now a total believer that Al Gore is a looney. Global warming my tush!!

Wipe Out!

I just saw a preview for the funniest freakin' show on TV. It's called wipeout. It basically is a game show to see who can make it through different obstacles without wiping out. It looks hilarious. It comes out June 24th. Check it out!
There's also a show about stupid japanese games coming soon too . Yea! I love games!!
