{Autumn Leaves are Falling....}

October has come and is almost gone so I thought I'd better recap our Autumn fun thus far!!

We started the month off with a quick drive to Palisades lake to take a look at the fall colors...it was absolutely beautiful! We made some quick stops to take little hikes where the kids had fun throwing stones into the streams. We even enjoyed our first snowfall of the year on October 6th and all bundled up to build a snowman!! And this week we went around the corner to pick out some pumpkins!! The kids loved it!! Kaydree officially started Kindergarten!!
August 31st was her 1st day and she loves it!
She likes her teacher Mrs. Hansen too! On the 1st day of school
we had quite the experience. Her bus driver Mr. Bate said he'd pick her
up at 7:41am which around here pretty much means that exact time but on
the first day it was 7:35am when it came..and well.....we missed it! I felt like the worst mom ever!! Luckily, the bus makes a loop and so she got to catch the bus on our side of the street :) Hence, the pictures on the driveway instead of our front porch :) She was so excited as you can see from her wacky poses! But we LOVE this little girl! She is all grown up!

Austin and I just got home from Jamaica and we loved every second of it, especially going away just the two of us! :) Our resort was beautiful with so much to do and was all inclusive. We had an awesome week! Here are a few pictures our friend took of us while at the resort....we love how they turned out! (Some may be a little steamy so watch out! haha)

(Down and Dirty)

On June 4th my friend Cassi and I ran the Dirty Dash in Salt Lake City. It was a endurance obstacle race in which was all in thick, wet, mud! We climbed walls, hills, haystacks, crawled through culverts, had water blasted at us, ran through swamps and tires, all for 3.2 miles of fun!! With school and all I didn't get to train as hard as I would have liked to but placed 44th overall out of 804 contestants!! We had so much fun that we decided we will be running it next year!! :)

This past Saturday the 21st was Kaydree's first dance recital!!! She did such a great job and has now become our little dancer! She looked so grown up with her costume and makeup on :)

She was so excited that she got flowers after wards like the big girls!!


We are so proud of Kaydree!! She can't wait until her next recital!!

This past week was a fun one! My parents, my older sister and her little boy came up from CA to visit for the weekend.
First Stop: My twin sister and her husbands graduation from Weber State.....

Third stop: Back to Idaho for Brayden's birthday party! His real birthday was on the 25th. He's 4!!!

Birthday Present/Cake Time.....A NEW BIKE!!!!


It's official.......after almost a whole year we made it to four!! He talks about his birthday ALL the time!!! haha



On Monday it was his true birthday and Austin thought he needed a REAL bike so he bought him a dirtbike........he forgot to buy him the medical insurance to go with it though! :) Brayden was so excited but started shaking and told me it was because he is a little scared about riding it! I thought that was so cute.



Fourth Stop: EASTER!!!! It was a beautiful day and we had a great time at church with my family! The kids LOVED the easter egg hunt!!




And the infamous whirly go round that is rigged up in the temp house we are living in!!! We all got into the action and enjoyed ourselves.................


MAYBE a little too MUCH!!! hahahahaha (just for you mom!!)


Fifth Stop: A GIANT PRAYER FOR MAY!!!! We woke up this morning to about 3 inches of snow!!! Geesh!!! We STILL love Idaho though!!


Sixth Stop: MAY and MOVING!!!!! It couldn't come any faster for us!! I am so ready to get into our new home!! (Pics coming VERY soon!)
