{Dresser Re-Do and House Update}

I finally was able to to start and finish a project this month!!! :)
Here is a dresser that I bought off craigslist and loved the details and curves
but really disliked the gold and red writing on the drawer fronts :)

I decided that this dresser will serve as a buffet like table in our new dining room!! :)
And the drawers will be perfect for extra place settings, silverware, misc. and of course
the kids coloring stuff :) I love the olive green color!





Here's our house as of Saturday morning!! I am getting so excited!!
This week they are insulating!! :)

DID I MENTION HOW SICK OF WINTER I AM???? :)

{NO excuses}

So this week was a bit chilly in Idaho....like -34 degrees during the day...but I wasn't complaining, I got to stay indoors all day. Austin and the guys on the other hand were not so excited for the freezing weather. They just assumed that because it was a tad cold outside they could stay inside and do other things. I was nice and agreed to 1 day at home but after that when it warmed up to like 5 degrees I told them NO excuses (joking of course)...but look at the progress!!! We have our trusses up!! Here are some pics from the process!!

GO PACKERS!!! We went over to Austin's parents house for the super bowl and of course the Packers won!!! And who could forget this little guy?? :) He's waving while sitting in a little

{Progress of our Final Home}

HOME SWEET HOME!!!
We finally found our place to be in life and it's here!!
In Labelle, ID....we found 5 acres that we love and are
excited to live and stay put here for a very long time!!
We hope to be all moved in by May 1st!!!

{Dancing Diva}

Kaydree started dance this month at Infinity Dance Studio and loves it!!! Her teacher is Miss Natalie and she is doing jazz and ballet! She has been practicing hard for her recital that will be in May. She smiles the whole time she is there!

{Furniture Makeovers: Before and Afters}

I have been having the itch to do some much needed furniture re-dos! I love it!

The first one was an end table I refinished for my mother-in-law for Christmas! They have a gorgeous baby grand piano and had the idea of making it a sheet music side table. I like how it turned out! They were both craigslist finds.....Let me know what ya think :)

The next one I did was a temp dresser for this rental home and might end up in our guest room eventually...not sure about the 2 different colors but like the contrast!

{Jaxton's First Birthday}

Yesterday was Jaxton's 1st Birthday!!
What better way to celebrate than with cake? :)
We love him so much! He started officially walking this past week too!
As you can see from the pictures he started feeling a bit sick.....just look at those cute rolls! :)












"It's my party and I'll cry if I want to"!!!............
"THE" party: It was his bedtime and well....he ended up poopin' out at his own party and went to bed. :)

{Holiday Roundup 2010}

Now that we're all settled and moved into our little rental house with the pink carpet(thank goodness it's just for a few months :) We do love it though to clarify), I thought I'd take a second to do a little holiday roundup of our month of December!

First stop: Santa's Mailbox....the kids thought this was the greatest and Kaydree even wrote her entire letter herself!!

Our quick overnight trip to a Utah Jazz game and Hill Air Force Base Museum


They had cute little airplanes for the kids to ride in!

But he loves that it's diesel and is lifted...(some sort of semi-mid life crisis stage :))


Jaxton loves to play and laugh....and has 6 teeth now! He is such a happy little guy!



Brayden was so excited for Christmas....this was taken Christmas Eve!!


We went to Austin's parents' house for Christmas Eve and read the story of Jesus' birth while the kids dressed up and acted it out....Kaydree was Mary, Brayden was a shepherd, and Jaxton was baby Jesus.



Christmas Morning!!! Santa came!!! Kaydree's favorite present was a barbie house!


Jaxton loves his pony that grandpa gave him :) It sings and talks!



And Brayden loves his own "real" tool set from Santa so he can work with Daddy! :)


And of course we can't forget about Buzz and Iron Man :)
(he is ALL boy!)


We have been so blessed and love our family and friends! We had a wonderful Christmas and truly felt the real spirit of Christmas in our home this year.
